Katie Swayze is a public library assistant who wears multiple hats: office manager, volunteer coordinator, and technical services assistant. She also gets to make seasonal window displays.

Katie is currently enrolled at San José State University’s School of Information, working toward a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS). With an BFA in Graphic Design, she is particularly interested in how design principles can help libraries better serve their communities.
