Fall ‘25 Window

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month and the 2025 theme was “One Card, Endless Possibilities.” September is also when most students in Maine go back to school, so I decided to illustrate the theme with simple doodles and lettering you might find in a student’s notebook. From books to therapy dogs to a free, solar-powered EV charging station, each doodle is tied to some aspect of what our library has to offer. This was my first time using Posca markers on glass—I wasn’t sure if it would hold up to weather if I drew on the window outdoors, so I did everything indoors… backwards. It took ages to do it this way. Oh well, lessons were learned & next time will be different!
