Summer ‘25 Window

Our library’s summer program theme was “Summer Learning: Your Passport to Understanding”. This was the first window where I was given permission to do pretty much whatever I wanted (wheeeeeee!!) The idea came from Pinterest (image credit: Stephanie Carswell of Hawthorn Handmade). With the help of online tutorials like this one, it was easy to involve volunteers in building this display. My colleagues in youth services were so delighted by display that they requested a duplicate version to be hung inside the library year-round.

Time invested: Medium

Volunteer participation: High

Supplies used:

  • Astrobrights printer/copy paper in 9 colors

  • Lettering done with white copy paper

  • Fishing line
