Summer ‘26 Window
Our library’s summer learning theme is “Read + Create + Connect”. When I was told that friendship bracelets would be one of the activities in our youth services department, I was drawn to the idea of using paper garlands to evoke both those and the idea of connection. June is Pride Month, so having a rainbow palette was a given! This was a straightforward project, so volunteers did most of the work on this one. The design was replicated in other parts of the library: mini garlands were strung around books highlighting a Pride Month display and more were draped across youth services.
